Curriculum

The subject comprises the detailed depiction and analysis of energy markets and the related specifics for management decisions in these markets. In the study program relevant concepts from energy, environment, resource and regulation economics as well as different theoretical modeling approaches for the profound discussion of practical problems are discussed.

The courses have high theoretical and practical requirements. The energy economic sector makes comprehensive use of insights of this subject. After completion of the courses the students should have the abilities to follow academic discussions and apply the studied methods on practical problems.

A large part of the presented knowledge and methods is used and required in energy companies.
