Essener EnergieForum

The Essener EnergieForum is an interdisciplinary annual event, voluntarily organized by students and research assistants. It addresses current issues of the energy sector, especially engineering, political and economic topics. The Essener EnergieForum offers informative speeches, panel discussions and workshops held by fascinating people from all disciplines of the economic world.

The Forum was founded in 2012 by students of the energy and finance master degree program, which is organized by the House of Energy Markets and Finance. Since then, the event is cooperating with the Chair of Management Science and Energy Economics and Prof. Weber is the official patron of the event. The EnergieForum 2018 had the guiding theme „Urban Innovations – Energie in der Stadt der Zukunft“.
